Example: SickKids
Ethos began working with SickKids over four years ago. Our first challenge was to reinvigorate the brand, leveraging the goodwill the Hospital for Sick Children knew
it had earned. Working with a complex range of stakeholders, Ethos launched the
new identity - SickKids. Launching this brand positioned SickKids to undertake a
fundraising campaign, the largest in its sector in Canadian history. Ethos worked
with SickKids to develop an integrated marketing campaign that cultivated the
perception of SickKids as a leading advocate for children’s health issues, building
on its world-class stature as a children’s hospital and research institute. The first
year of this multi-year campaign generated significant results, surpassing all
fundraising benchmarks. Equally important, SickKids has re-established its position
as a world-leading social brand.
